Across about a decade in the auto industry, working in sales, service, accounting, and for a dealer management software company, I kept seeing the same thing. Owners were working hard and growing revenue, but the numbers they were handed didn't tell them what to do next. Many couldn't say with confidence where they were making money and where they were losing it.
The problem was rarely effort. Usually nobody had turned the financials into decisions. That's the work I wanted to do, and it's why FHG Advisors is a CFO firm and nothing else. No bookkeeping side hustle, no tax season, no unrelated services. Just clear financial leadership for owners who want to keep more of what they earn.
